The exhibition "Artist Books and Feminism " is on view in the Fourth Floor of UW-Milwaukee's Golda Meir Library Special Collections Reading Room through June 3, 2011. Through the use of structure, content, and materiality these works touch on issues of gender discrepancy, societal and cultural imperatives, religious prohibitions, historical precedence, abuse, identity construction, and empowerment.
