“You’re not… going to France?” was the next question. Lisa shook her head.
“Not unless you take me,” she ended, suddenly greatly daring. For a moment he looked at her without speaking. It was so unexpected, so out of character for her to talk this way, and his bemused mind could not at first realize the implication. Suddenly he smiled.
“We’ll go together,” he confirmed. “For a honeymoon. Would you like that, Lisa?”
“Very much,” she told him, “but only if you’d like it too.”
