The Library (Website) is Open 24 Hours a Day!

You can access the library catalog, electronic journals, and research databases at any time from anywhere you have an active Internet connection. Off-campus access to subscription titles is limited to UWM students and employees. If you don't already have Internet access on your computer, the UWM Resource CD, which contains free software and dial-up Internet connection settings for anyone with an ePanther ID, is available at the Reserve Desk (first floor, east wing).

Fall 2004 Course Schedule Available

The UWM Timetable for fall classes is now available at www.uwm.edu/schedule. Paper versions are available at the library Information Desk (first floor, west wing) and the Department of Enrollment Services office in Bolton Hall.

Book Sale April 12-14

The Friends of the Golda Meir Library are holding their spring used book sale next week, April 12-14, in the Libraries fourth floor Conference Center. Thousands of items, including classics, fiction, textbooks, and records, will be available. See this news announcement for more information.

Do You ILL?

Several free services are available for obtaining materials not immediately available in the library, including UW System Borrowing and Interlibrary Loan (ILL). With just a few exceptions (such as rare materials and items in special formats), essentially any item held by another library may be requested. See Options for Obtaining Library Materials or ask a librarian for more information.

April Library Workshops

The Library Workshops page has been updated to list the library tours and hands-on workshops scheduled for April. Several new 30-minute sessions are featured. All workshops are free and open to all. No registration or sign-up is required.
