Runaway Slave's Epilogue Is Subject of Thursday's Lecture

The UWM Libraries Archives’ annual Revisiting Our Past local history lecture is entitled “Freedom Found: The Untold Story of Joshua Glover, Runaway Slave,” and will be presented by Ruby West Jackson and Walter T. McDonald at 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 15 in the fourth floor Conference Center of the Golda Meir Library building.

Special 2005 Gulf Coast Area Census Report

The US Census Bureau has released a Special Product for the Gulf Coast Area to describe changes that the local population and economies experienced in the areas affected by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
