UW Milwaukee Library Panthercat upgrade August 4-6 2009.

During the first two weeks of August 2009 all UW-System Libraries will be upgrading their software. From Aug 4-6 2009, some services like UW-System borrowing, renewals, recalls and bookshelf information will be unavailable through UW Milwaukee Library Panthercat. UW Milwaukee will resume normal functionality on August 7 2009. Beginning July 13 UW-Stout will shut down UW System Borrowing and resume August 26 2009. The rest of the UW-System libraries will shut down UW System Borrowing on July 27 and resume August 17 2009. More information.

Substantial Changes to Subscription Resources

Proquest Newspapers, Wisconsin Newsstand, Ethnic Newswatch, and the African American Biographical Database are no longer be available to the UWM community. The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction had previously provided access to these titles via BadgerLink.

Several new titles, including Newspaper Source Plus, Education Research Complete, Educational Administration Abstracts, and Music Index Online are now available. Additionally, subscriptions to Academic Search and Business Source have been upgraded to include increased coverage. Additional information on these titles is available on the New Resources page.
