Training Liaisons

Training Liaisons work with UWM staff to ensure that prospective training participants are properly registered and kept informed of training opportunities. All registration forms should be submitted to a Training Liaison before being forwarded to the UWM Partnership.

Cancellations must be processed through the Training Liaison and the UWM Partnership.

Training Liaison Role
  1. Ensure the delivery of the semi-annual Training Directory to all current and incoming staff.
  2. Forward all training announcements to the appropriate staff.
  3. Ensure the appropriate employees are attending the appropriate training.
  4. Ensure registration forms are accurate and complete.
  5. Forward all registration forms to UWM in a timely manner.
  6. Communicate confirmation, changes or cancellation of training registrations to trainees.
  7. Communicate and assist in adherence to policies and procedures regarding training cancellation, registration, etc.
  8. By the 5th of each month, notify UWM of those who have terminated, or transferred, their employment within the BMCW and its partner agencies.
  9. Review monthly training reports from UWM to address any attendance issues.
  10. When possible, assist in gathering trainee information for the training partnership.
  11. Communicate training roster information in a timely manner to appropriate management staff to ensure adequate staff coverage for business operations.
  12. Communicate to UMW the name of a back-up liaison in the event the primary liaison is out of the office for three or more days.
