Let's Talk
Dear colleagues, Let’s Talk is a new and exciting program for UWM students! It provides easy access to informal and confidential support and consultation offered by counselors from Norris Health Center's Counseling and Consultation Services. Counselor consultants will hold drop-in hours at various sites around campus Monday through Thursday. All students are welcome. There is no fee, no appointment necessary, and students are seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Let's Talk was developed at Cornell University and has been duplicated in at least 15 campuses in the country. The program has received national recognition and been cited in the following articles: "Reaching Students Who Won't Walk In," The Expanding Safety Net," and "Eliminating Racial Disparities in College Completion and Achievement: Current Initiatives, New Ideas, and Assessment."
