Expertise: I model the gravitational waves produced by colliding neutron stars or black holes. This involves solving Einstein's equations of general relativity using analytic approximation methods. These waves will be detected by the LIGO project (the Laser Interferometer Gravitational-wave Observatory), in which UWM plays a major role.
