About Cancellation Notifications
In the event of severe weather or other emergencies, decisions to cancel classes will be announced here and broadcast on area television and radio stations.

Class cancellation announcements are also made on the S.A.F.E. Line recorded phone message at 414-229-4444.

This is the weather bulletin service of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
All classes are being held as scheduled.

If at all possible the following timeline will be followed for cancellation of classes.

Class Start Time Announcement Time
7:30 a.m. – Noon preferably by 6 a.m. - no later than 6:45 a.m.
Noon – 4 p.m. before 10:30 a.m.
4 p.m. or later before 2 p.m.

This message will change if classes are canceled. Notifications are also given on UWM's World Wide Web Home Page, and as a recorded telephone message at 229-4444.
