Doctorally-Prepared Clinical Faculty Positions
Position Title: Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor
Appointment Type: Nine-month, Full-time, Probationary Instructional Academic Staff (PIAS) appointment. This Probationary appointment has the potential to lead to Indefinite Status, similar to tenure, whereas our clinical teaching positions do not.
Starting Date: January 2, 2009 (negotiable)
Duties: Teach courses in the College of Nursing and carry out scholarly activities and community service in accordance with the mission of the College of Nursing and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. These positions, as opposed to Tenure/Tenure Track faculty positions, emphasize teaching, leadership and service within the College of Nursing. Opportunity for scholarship activity is provided, but is not the primary focus of this role.
Qualifications:

Doctorate in Nursing or related field (This includes the DNP)

Master's degree or higher in Nursing

Licensed as RN in Wisconsin or ability to become licensed in Wisconsin

Teaching expertise and clinical practice, in any of the following:
Nurse Practitioner
Salary: Negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience
