The College of Nursing RN to BS Program is for the diploma or associate degree nurse to begin earning a baccalaureate degree with the flexibility of working it into your current career and/or family life. Students have the option to enroll full-time or part-time and the choice to take courses at local clinical sites or online through the UW-System Collaborative Nursing Programs (BSN@Home).
Starting November 2013, students will also have the option of enrolling in Wisconsin's new Flex Degree program. Students will complete competency based assessments in place of the traditional class and exam structure to show mastery of a subject. The UW System is expected to be the first public university system in the nation to offer this kind of competency-based, self-paced learning option. Students may combine the Flex Degree assessments with the in-person and online courses, allowing you to create a program that fits your life. Learn more at flex.wisconsin.edu.
Graduates of the Wisconsin Technical College System can earn a minimum of 60 credits applied toward your degree.
