Visiting International Scholars

We’re pleased to host visiting scholars from every corner of the globe.

Professor Sunae Lee, from Kangwon National University in Chunchon, South Korea, has been in residence at the UWM College of Nursing since 2006. Ms Lee’s research interests include community health nursing and informatics.

Professor Hee-Chong Baek from the Red Cross College of Nursing in Seoul, South Korea and Professor Anita Bamford-Wade, Joint Head of Nursing at Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand, visited the UWM College of Nursing in summer 2008.

Professor Baek and Professor Bamford-Wade met with faculty and students, and visited our community nursing centers. Discussions are underway about future collaboration in community nursing center research and evaluation, and study abroad opportunities for students.
