Leadership Dr. Coenen is currently funded by the International Council of Nurses, in Geneva Switzerland , to serve as the Director of the International Classification for Nursing Practice (ICNP®) Programme.
Dr. Coenen is a representative for the International Council of Nurses to the International Organization of Standards (ISO) Technical Committee 215- Healthcare Informatics. She is a member of the Steering Committee for the Canadian Health Outcomes for Better Information and Care (C-HOBIC) project. Also, Dr. Coenen is a member of the World Health Organization (WHO) Advisory Group for ICD-10 Mental Health Diagnosis & Classification.
