Before joining the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee faculty in 1985, Dr. Devine did two years of post-doctoral research at Northwestern University. Prior to that, Dr. Devine was an instructor in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Nursing. Her areas of expertise include evidence-based practice, knowledge synthesis, and meta-analysis.
