Teaching

Ms. Jansen has taught a variety of undergraduate theory and clinical courses over the last 26 years. Her clinical teaching has focused on nursing care of adults who have experienced serious and persistent mental illness across the continuum of care.

Leadership Ms. Jansen has served on the nominating committee for the Milwaukee District Nurses Association. For the past 15 years, she served in a variety of leadership positions, including Board President, Secretary, and Chair of the Quality Improvement Committee for a non-profit community agency that serves people who have experienced mental illness.
