Mrs. Kelber joined the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) College of Nursing as biostatistician and information specialists in the Harriet Werley Center for Nursing Research and Evaluation (WCNRE) over 20 years ago. She has served as biostatistician on several federally funded and non-for-profit organizations research programs/projects.

As a biostatistician, Mrs. Kelber collaborates with several faculty and staff on diverse projects. Her areas of research and expertise span quantitative methodological approaches to health and social sciences research. Mrs. Kelber has collaborated on several research projects including: chronic disease research, cancer, heart disease, aging/gerontology, HIV/AIDS, obesity, health systems research and quality of life issues, social stigma and health, bereavement, women’s health etc.  

Within the UWM College of Nursing, Mrs. Kelber also creates the course and teaching evaluation forms used each semester and analyze data obtained from these evaluations.

Teaching

Mrs. Kelber assists graduate students with methodological issues and data analysis related to projects and dissertation research. Mrs. Kelber serves periodically as statistics instructor in the College of Nursing. She also serves as guest lecturer to undergraduate and graduate courses in nursing research.
