MN Direct Entry Admission Information
Begin the application process

Apply to the UWM Graduate School.

Completion of the GRE (taken within the last five years) may be required if the Graduate School calculates all undergraduate coursework to be below a 3.20 GPA. This calculation is not made until the Graduate School Application is complete. Students who hold a master's degree are exempt from taking the GRE.

Complete several pre-requisite courses prior to beginning the program. Courses must be taken within five years of starting the program with a grade of B or higher.  

  • Upper-level undergraduate course in Statistics
  • Anatomy and Physiology (2 semesters)
  • Growth and Development
  • Microbiology
  • Biochemistry (a general chemistry course is required to enroll in Biochemistry) 
  • Nutrition
