The admission requirements of the Master's program are consistent with those of the Graduate School of UWM. Apply on-line to the UWM Graduate School.
In addition, you must meet the following requirements:
- Completion of the BS in Nursing degree with a minimum grade point average of a 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale with all transfer and repeated courses included in the calculation).
- Completion, with a grade of C or higher, of an upper-level undergraduate course in within five years immediately preceding admission.
- Current registration in Wisconsin as a professional nurse.
- Completion of the Graduate Records Examination (GRE) General Test within the last five years. This requirement is waived for applicants with a BS in Nursing GPA of a 3.2 or higher (on a 4.0 scale with all transfer and repeated courses included in the calculation) or a prior Master's degree.
- Completion of an Autobiographical Sketch with specific information as indicated in the Guide to the Application Process.
