Preparation and Prerequisites
RN's are encouraged to work closely with the RN-BS Program Advisor while completing their BS in Nursing and should indicate their interest in applying to the RN-BS-MS program in order to best plan their studies.
In order for you to be recognized as a strong academic candidate for the MS program, you should perform well in your BS requirements as well as the MS bridge core courses. Prior to applying to the MS program, you are encouraged to explore the many professional opportunities and roles in nursing to determine the program which will best fit your desired role.
As you near completion of the BS requirements, it is also recommended that you begin to work with the Graduate Advisor in addition to the RN-BS Program Advisor. Nurses planning to apply to the MS program may schedule these advising appointments.
