Academic Advising
You will be assigned an academic advisor as soon as they are admitted to UWM. Academic advisors can give you personal guidance to help you succeed. We can help you develop success strategies, select classes, register, plan your schedule, understand university policies and procedures and link you to other College of Nursing and campus wide resources.
We encourage you to meet with your academic advisor at least once a semester, before registration begins. You can schedule to meet with your advisor in April for fall classes and October and early November for Spring classes.
If you would like to schedule an appointment or are not sure who your academic advisor is, please call the College of Nursing at 414-229-5047 or stop in Cunningham Hall room 135 for assistance.
