Admission Information
If you are interested in this program you should apply as early as possible to UWWashington County at www.apply.wisconsin.edu. UWWC students must also be admitted to UWM as special students to be able to take Nursing 102 in the Fall semester and Nursing 300 and Clinical Lab Sciences 332 in the Spring semester. The same website is used to put in the 'special' student application. Do not apply as a Collaborative Student since this is a different program. Students who are enrolled as 'special' students at UWM for consecutive semesters you do not need to reapply each semester.
When UWWC students are at the point of transferring to UWM they do not need to pay the application fee to apply to UWM as degree seeking students nor do they need to submit official transcripts from UWWC at the time of application to UWM. This only needs to be done once all pre-nursing courses at UWWC have been completed. Official high school transcripts and transcripts of any other campuses do need to be submitted at the time of application.
At the pre-clinical level, eligible students apply for financial aid through the Financial Aid Office at UWWC.
