Application to the Nursing Major
As you are nearing completion of your pre-nursing requirements, you can apply for admission to the two years of the nursing major. This is a competitive process and applications are accepted twice a year. The deadline to apply is January 15 for Fall applicants and August 15 for Spring applicants. Please make an appointment to meet with your advisor to make sure you will complete the necessary pre-nursing course work before the Nursing Major courses would begin.
The two years of the Nursing Major consist of advanced science and nursing courses, skills instruction and practice, and hands-on training in health care facilities.
