Undergraduate Research Symposium

Application Deadline Extension: April 3, 2009.

The inaugural UWM Undergraduate Research Symposium will be held on Friday, April 24 from 12:00-2:30 p.m. in the Union Ballroom. This is an opportunity for undergraduates from across campus who are engaged in faculty-directed research to present their findings to the greater campus community. Students accepted to present will be furnished with a poster display board in the Union Ballroom. There is some availability for other types of displays, which can be requested on the submission form. Completed submission forms should be saved as URSYM_lastname and emailed to Tamara Long at talong@uwm.edu.

For tips on how to create a conference-quality poster to present your research to the UWM community, please attend one of our three Research Poster Workshops. The workshops are scheduled for March 31, April 7 and April 14 from 3:30- 4:30 p.m. in Lubar N234C. Please contact Kyla Moore, Associate Director of OUR, at kylam@uwm.edu for more details.
