Work with Marine Robots

Undergraduate research positions are available in my lab to work on our amphibious robot project. LMAR - the Lake Michigan Amphibious Robot - is our working prototype vehicle. It is designed to be deployed from the beach, enter the crashing waves, perform its mission and return to its starting position on the dry beach. LMAR's application are aimed at scientific research and environmental monitoring so it is designed to carry a variety of sensors and sampling devices.

Tasks and responsibilities:

A full summer of LMAR field tests on Bradford Beach, Milwaukee.
