The Photo Services staff provides award-winning photography for a wide range of University events, news and marketing purposes.
Alan Magayne-Roshak, Senior Photographer
Alan has been documenting the UWM photographically since he was a student here. He has received over 100 awards for his work, and continues to bring enthusiasm for photography to University events and projects.
Off-duty, Alan most enjoys exercising his creativity by finding humor in the world around us and capturing it using the abstract qualities of black and white film tonality.

Peter Jakubowski, Digital Asset Manager/Photographer
Peter’s photographs range from exciting sports action on the court to personal portrait sessions in the studio. His work lends itself well to marketing efforts that communicate the University's message and shares “UWM moments."
A graduate of UWM with a BFA in Photography, Peter began work in Photo Services in 2005. He plays a key role in managing the department's ever-growing photographic catalogs to maintain an accurate historical collection of photographs for the University.
Peter lives in Shorewood and enjoys all four seasons with his wife Erin and puppy Zeke, an energetic Great Dane.
