UWM Planetarium

The Manfred Olson Planetarium, located on the UWM campus, presents a variety of astronomy programs open to the general public. In addition, we offer planetarium shows and activities for private groups, such as schools, the Girl Scouts, and birthday celebrations.

We are taking part in the UWM Homecoming week! Come see our Northern Lights show free to all alumni and their guests on Monday, October 5 at 7pm. Find more information here. You must register for this event as space is limited: register here.

Thank you to everyone who came out to join us in watching the lunar eclipse Sunday night. It was an amazing sight! If you missed it or wanted to see some pictures of the moon and the event, visit our Facebook or Twitter pages. You can also read about the event here.

The Planetarium will be co-sponsoring a program of experimental films with the UWM Department of Film, Video, Animation, and New Genres at the Union Cinema on Tuesday, October 13 at 7 pm.  Admission is FREE.  Click here for more information.

The Planetarium is looking for 1-2 people interested in stargazing and/or publicity.  Click here to learn more!
