On April 27, 2013 the planetarium will be collaborating with the Peck School of the Arts to unite creative expression with astronomy! Art students and Milwaukee locals will be displaying their space-inspired work in the physics building hallway just outside the UWM Planetarium. Their pieces will also be available for purchase during a silent auction. Half the proceeds will benefit the UWM Planetarium and half the proceeds will benefit the artists.

In addition to the dazzling displays of cosmically influenced art, the event will feature a unique planetarium show highlighting the artistry of astronomical photography. Audience members will enjoy viewing spring constellations in city and country skies.

Complementary refreshments will be served, and awesome prizes from Capricio Salon, Cheesecake Factory, Clark Graphics, Metro Market, Pizza Shuttle and Tracks Tavern will be available during a silent auction.

Admission is $25 regularly or $20 before April 5. To get your tickets early, complete the registration form above and mail the check by April 19. With a valid student ID admission is $10. Tickets may also be purchased the night of the event.

Although normally children are welcome to planetarium programs, this evening’s event is not recommended for children under the age of nine.
