Welcome from Chief Marzion

Chief MarzionOn behalf of the dedicated men and women of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Police Department, welcome to our website. We have created this site as part of our continuing effort to serve the University community.  Our department is comprised of 43 full time certified police officers, 4 dispatchers, several full time and part time professional administrative employees, and over 35 security officers. We have been entrusted by the campus community to provide professional police services to meet the unique needs of our growing research University, and to enforce all laws on campus.

As your police department, we endeavor to create a safe and secure environment in which to learn, live and work. But as a community, everyone shares in the responsibility to keep UW-Milwaukee safe. Please stay aware of your surroundings, enjoy all the university has to offer, and report suspicious behavior to the police. As partners, we can continue to have a very safe campus and retain the dynamic learning environment valued by all.

Please browse through our web site and explore the information and services that are available. I hope that this information will be informative and helpful and give you a better understanding of our agency and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
