*Strong Arm Robbery- East Locust Street at North Murray Street

On Friday, April 13, 2012 at about 3:00 a.m. a female student was walking alone along E. Locust Street near N. Murray Street when she was confronted by a subject who demanded money then knocked her down and stole her leather jacket before fleeing on foot.

Suspect Description

Black male subject described as 17-20 years old, clean shaven, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. 

The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating.  Please call their Criminal Investigation Bureau at 414-935-7360 if you have information about this incident.

University Police would like to remind all of you to avoid walking alone, especially late at night.  Taking advantage of SAFE escorts provided by the University Police Department and University provided transportation services are encouraged.
