Student Poster Printing Using EdTech Funding
Large format color printing is available to students for course- or research-related projects at no cost through Visual Design Services.
This free (up to 24 sq. ft.) large format printing service is made possible through EdTech funds generated from educational technology fee paid by each student.
Printout Quantity
Printouts are limited to ONE printout per student per project and must be approved by a student's class instructor or research advisor.
Printout Size
Project printout is limited to 24 square feet maximum. If your project exceeds 24 square feet, there is a charge of $7.00 for each square foot after the 24 foot maximum. Students can pay this additional fee with a personal check or cash; Credit cards are not accepted.
Submission Request Deadline
A minimum of three University business days from submission of the file and request form is required on all large format poster printing projects (e.g., If a file is submitted at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, the poster will be ready for pick-up by 3 p.m. the following Monday).
Steps for EdTech-funded Poster Printing
1. Download and complete the EdTech Request Form
The submitted form must have the class instructor’s or research advisor’s signature.
2. Create file adhering to file requirements.
3. Submit file and Request Form.
In Person: Sabin Hall, Room 353B, Monday–Friday, 9 a.m–4:30 p.m.
Include file on USB (jump/thumb drive) or CD
Bring paper copy of completed, signed request form
Electronically: Upload file to the cre8-design dropbox (use the 'Upload File to Dropbox' link below); A printed and signed request form and hard copy of poster must be faxed to 414-229-6393 before your project will be printed.
4. Pick up poster.
Staff will e-mail or call you when your poster is ready. Pick-up completed poster in Sabin Hall, Room 353B Monday–Friday between 9 a.m.–4:30 p.m. There is no weekend service available.
