- Thermal System Insulation (TSI):

- All thermal system insulation (TSI) sampled to date has been asbestos-free insulation except for pipe saddle insulation and the insulation on the Bell & Gossett horizontal heat exchangers in the mechanical rooms.
- All B50B generator exhaust insulation samples (4) have been negative.
- Saddle insulation on utilities may be asbestos block insulation.
- All thermal system insulation (TSI) sampled to date has been asbestos-free insulation except for pipe saddle insulation and the insulation on the Bell & Gossett horizontal heat exchangers in the mechanical rooms.
- Interior walls are wallboard over metal studs. We are not aware of any acoustical plaster.
- All original twelve inch floor tile is VAT; all original mastic is ACM.
- Ceiling tile throughout the building is homogenous and is asbestos-free.
- Spray-on decking insulation in basement mechanical rooms is asbestos-free. Spray-on is also located in various other areas of the building. Please see the Asbestos Inventory for other sample locations.
- Fire-rated doors have an asbestos core; other door compositions are unknown. Elevator hoist-way doors are asbestos-free.
