Frequently Asked Questions


  1.  Who do you call when we have a light out?

    Please call 414-229-5096 between 6:00am and 2:30pm M-F and our campus lamper will be dispatched to replace the light.

     

  2. I am locked out of my office or classroom what should I do?

    Please call 414-229-4742 and we will either send personnel that have a key to the room, or we will send a locksmith to make repairs

     

  3. My room is too hot or too cold?

    Please call 414-229-4742 and we will send a Control Fitter. We have two control fitters for all of campus, generally, our priorities are 1) buildings 2)single floors 3) banks of rooms 4)individual rooms. Your patience is very much appreciated.

     

  4. What should I do if I get caught in an elevator? 

    • REMAIN CALM.

       

    • STAY INSIDE THE ELEVATOR, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO LEAVE THE ELEVATOR UNTIL ASSISTED BY THE ELEVATOR OR RESCUE PERSONNEL.

       

    • YOU ARE SAFE INSIDE THE ELEVATOR.

       

    • USE THE EMERGENCY PHONE TO CONTACT EMERGENCY PERSONNEL, THEY WILL CONTACT THE NECESSARY PERSONS TO SAFELY GET YOU OUT.

       

    • IF FOR SOME REASON YOU FEEL YOU MAY NEED EMERGENCY MEDICAL ATTENTION, LET THE POLICE DISPATCHER KNOW THIS WHEN YOU CONTACT THEM ON THE EMERGENCY PHONE IN THE ELEVATOR

  5. How long will it take to make a plumbing repair?

    Our first priority is running water on the floor, second priority is plugged drains and faucet repairs in public area's and finally plumbing problems in private area's
