UWM Email/Calendar Service Project

The purpose of the UWM Email/Calendar Service Project is to select an email/calendar service provider that meets the service level needs of the campus community at the greatest value.

The UWM Email/Calendar Service Project will be divided into two phases:

Phase 1
The project team will gather the current requirements for email and calendar usage at UWM, prepare and submit a Request for Proposal (RFP) to evaluate servicing options, and submit a recommendation for an email/calendar solution to the Executive Sponsor. The Executive Sponsor will then select a solution that best meets the needs of the campus community.

Phase 2
A charter will be created and teams identified to implement the solution selected in Phase 1

News/Announcements

• To ensure we are doing an accurate analysis of the services available from our current provider and other potential email/calendar service providers, we have decided to postpone this project temporarily until we upgrade pantherLINK to the current software version. This upgrade is currently planned to begin January 2013. After the upgrade has been completed, the email and calendar evaluation project team will be reconvened to continue this project to evaluate our email and calendar service.
