The purpose of the Survey Instrument Tool project is to determine the requirements for a campus wide survey instrument tool and determine whether a particular product, Qualtrics, meets those requirements. The survey tool will be available to faculty, staff, and students. This project will provide a campus supported and vetted survey instrument tool for:
- We have an agreement with Qualtrics for a UW system wide license for their survey instrument.
- The UWM Survey Instrument Powered by Qualtrics is now available.

- Ease of survey design and administration
- Reduced cost through a standard tool that does not require custom development resources.
- Improved scheduling across multiple users
- Better quality of data (to the extent a survey tool can provide this assistance)
- Facilitated review of instruments by the Institutional Review Board
