A guiding group is in place whose purpose is to help define an initial core set of requirements and provide overall direction to the project. The initial core requirements are what the team believes are the most common needs of the campus. Having these preliminary common requirements provides a foundation so that during the requirements gathering phase more time can be allotted to ascertaining individual needs. The team will be working with the campus community to find out how well these core requirements fit with the needs of their areas. At the same time, unique needs will also be ascertained. The Requirements Quest process is being followed to define the requirements.
