Steps

1. Apply to UWM and meet general university academic requirements. Apply online at: apply.wisconsin.edu

2. Submit a portfolio and required materials to the Department of Art & Design (see details below).

Portfolio Submission

The Department of Art & Design requires all incoming and transfer students to submit a portfolio for review. Please refer to the links below for more information.

Portfolio Deadlines

The portfolio is required to be considered for Art & Design Incoming Student Scholarship by the deadlines listed below.

October 15 - For those applying for spring.

February 15 - For those applying for summer, and for those applying for fall to be considered for scholarships. We continue to review portfolios until UWM admissions are filled.
