A homegrown girl from Wisconsin, Kayla is a graduate of UWM's Theatre Department. She spent three wonderful years as the Stage Manager for Nevermore Theatre, and worked with Skylight Opera Theatre, Milwaukee Shakespeare, Seaside Music Theater (Daytona Beach, FL), Milwaukee Chamber Theatre and Renaissance Theaterworks. From 2002-2007, she worked with the UWM Dance, Music and Theatre Departments in stage management, house management and/or technical capacities, and concluded by stage managing Dancemakers and Mr. Melancholy in the spring and summer of 2007. Since 2005, she has stage managed, designed sound, and/or narrated the play reading series for Renaissance Theaterworks (El Nogalar in November 2011). Kayla started as the Office Manager for UWM Dance in April 2006, and in 2009, transitioned to functioning as a combination Program/Office Manager (and enjoyed receiving her 5-year pin at the 2011 Length of Service Awards Ceremony!).
