Film Admission
Admission to the Department of Film is contingent on acceptance to the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Students must complete 24 credits of film core courses at UWM to be eligible to submit portfolio for the film program. There is no required portfolio prior to attending UWM. As long as a student satisfies the UWM general admission requirements they may be a film-intended major. However, they will not officially be in the program and advance in their coursework until they complete the 24 credits and successfully pass portfolio.
