Tate Bunker moved to Wisconsin from Florida upon being accepted into the Peck School of the Arts' esteemed Master's of Fine Arts program in1997 and continues residing in Milwaukee because of the city's support for local filmmakers. Ambitious by nature, Tate has directed over 30 films in the last 10 years. He currently balances freelancing with teaching film production at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and directing his own films. His latest feature, Little Red (2012) has show internationally winning many awards including Best Feature at Canada International Film Fest and at the Berlin Independent Film Fest. It currently has received theatrical distribution in Asia, Middle East, and parts of Europe. His short, Studies in Space, won this year for Best Experimental film at the California International Film Festival.
