The Midwestern Charm

The Midwestern Charm began as a five-piece, acoustic-driven outfit in the summer of 2009, and since has grown into a four-piece pop rock band reminiscent of artists like the Gin Blossoms, The Lemonheads, and Ryan Adams. After receiving great reviews for their self-titled debut record released in early 2012, The Midwestern Charm already have their eyes set on the future, with plans to head into the studio to record their sophomore record. Well known for their energetic live performances, Steven Spoerl of Playground Misnomer writes that their shows are “sharp, well-constructed, concise, and sprinkled with catchy hooks and bite to spare…brought Wilco’s latest to mind” whereas Myles Coyne of Local Playlist says that “they share a sense of dynamics [and] plow through each tune, accenting with sudden stops & hard hitting explosions that make any bar crawler raise their glass & cheer.” The Midwestern Charm music, shows, and contact information can be found on their website ( themidwesterncharm.com ), Facebook, and Bandcamp.
