Curt Hanrahan, saxophone, holds a bachelor of music degree from UWM and a Masters degree in multiple woodwinds from UW-Madison. He performs regularly throughout the Milwaukee area as a freelance musician and has performed with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and Skylight Theater. He also worked with such artists as Tony Bennett, Rosemary Clooney, Cab Calloway, the Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, Harry Connick Jr., Aturo Sandoval, Big Band Manhattan Transfer, Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, Doc Severinsen, Frank Sinatra Jr. and Ray Charles. He is currently recording on the BluJazz label with a soon to be released CD, SoulJourner. Mr. Hanrahan teaches saxophone and directs the jazz program at UWM, a position he has held since 1990.
