Judit Jaimes is an artist teacher. Her wide experience as recitalist, orchestra soloist and chamber musician combines artistic ideals with teaching expertise of the highest order following the tradition of excellence received as a graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. Jaimes has toured extensively throughout North and South America, South Africa and Europe. She has performed with the Cleveland, Philadelphia and London Symphony Orchestras, and the Rotterdam and New York Philharmonic, among others. As recitalist and collaborative pianist Jaimes has appeared in Paris, Rome, Amsterdam, Berlin, Frankfurt, Bonn, Stuttgart, Vienna, Warsaw, MexicoCity and Caracas. She has been featured in international television/radio broadcasts including BBC London, Radio Netherlands, WFMT Chicago, TV Warsaw and WNYC New York. Among many important decorations in recognition of her brilliant contributions to her homeland's cultural image, Jaimes was honored with the 1999 commendation from the President of Venezuela, the revered National Music Award.
