Debuting in the Fall of 1999 as a performing ensemble with a unique repertoire and style, the UWM Gospel Choir has become one of the most popular choral organizations on campus. Meeting only one evening a week, the group offers a flexible way to participate in choral activities to those students who desire evening scheduling options. The UWM Gospel Choir often performs off-campus by invitation at church services and revivals, and at special community events. Membership is competitive, and is obtained by audition and instructor permission; auditions take place the first week of each semester. Information on auditions can be obtained by calling the choral office at 229-3608, or by stopping by the bulletin board across from Music room 171 and reading the Choral Information Board.
