Scott Corley Youth Wind Ensemble (UWAY), Symphony Band & Panther Band Full Bio
Scott R. Corley is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Music at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Peck School of the Arts. In this capacity, he serves as Assistant Director of University Bands and Music Director of the UWM Youth Wind Ensembles program.
John Climer Wind Ensemble Full Bio
John Climer is Director of Bands and Professor of Music at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. At UWM, Dr. Climer oversees all aspects of the University Bands ensembles and operations, guides the graduate wind-conducting program, and serves as conductor of the Wind Ensemble, the University’s premiere wind band.

Jennifer Clippert Woodwinds Full Bio
Flutist Jennifer Clippert’s performance career clearly reflects her passionate knowledge of music from Baroque to present day. Equally comfortable as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral player, she has performed throughout Chicago with groups such as the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Grant Park Orchestra, Music of the Baroque, Chicago Opera Theater and the Chicago Symphony’s MUSICNOW series among others.

Kevin Hartman maintains a very active performance schedule in addition to his teaching duties. He performs frequently with the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and has played on numerous concerts, recordings and tours with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, including two Grammy winning recordings.

Stefan Kartman is currently Associate Professor of Cello and Chamber Music at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. In addition to solo performance, he has performed to critical acclaim as cellist of the Kneisel Trio and the Florestan Duo.

Amanda Schoofs Contemporary Full Bio
Amanda Schoofs is a lecturer in composition and theory at UWM. She is a composer, experimental vocalist, and visual artist. Her compositions/painted scores explore the intimate relationship of substance and sound–unveiling extremes in breath/pitch, timbre/color, intensity/hue, text/nonsense, noise, and silence.

Carl Storniolo is a freelance percussionist who performs with ensembles throughout the Midwest. Carl is a versatile musician with performance credits that include: contemporary music ensembles such as Present Music, Music From Almost Yesterday, and the Chamber Music Institute at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee; extra-percussionist and substitute-percussionist with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra; Milwaukee Chamber Orchestra; percussionist with touring artists such as Frank Sinatra Jr., Aretha Franklin, Johnny Mathis, Don Rickles, Dennis DeYoung and others.

Gloria Hansen is assistant director of the UWM Choirs, where she is conductor of the Women's Chorus and teaches conducting, class voice, choral literature, and diction survey. She also serves as undergraduate advisor for the Department of Music.
Sharon Hansen Concert Chorale Full Bio
Hansen is Professor and Director of Choral Activities and head of Graduate Choral Studies at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. Esteemed as a conductor and master teacher throughout the United States and in Europe, Hansen has guest conducted the Romanian National Radio Choir (Bucharest) on numerous occasions; the Gachinger Kantorei and Bach Collegium-Stuttgart; the Stockholm Conservatory Chamber Choir; the Moldavian and Oltenian Philharmonic Choirs (Iasi and Craiova, Romania); and the University of Regensburg (Germany) Symphony Orchestra.

Paul Thompson Men's Chorus Full Bio
Paul Thompson is a member of the choral faculty at UW-Milwaukee, where he directs the University Choir, the Men's Choir, and teaches conducting and voice classes. Prior to his UWM appointment, Paul was on faculty at UW-Manitowoc where he taught music theory, aural skills, music literature and appreciation, history of rock and roll, and directed the choir.

Valerie Errante Opera Theatre Full Bio
Valerie Errante has served on the faculties of the University of Iowa, Eastman School of Music, and Folkwang Hochschule for Music in Essen, Germany. Her singing career has taken her to three continents: after her operatic debut with Michigan Opera Theater, she was selected for the opera studio of the Bavarian State Theater of Munich.

Tanya Kruse Ruck, Adjunct Professor - Voice, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music (Cum Laude) from Luther College and a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. Kruse has been on the voice faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee since 2003 and maintains a small private studio out of her home.

Margery Deutsch University Community Orchestra (UCO) Full Bio
Professor Emeritus Margery Deutsch was Director of Orchestras and Professor of Conducting at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 1984 - 2012. Under her direction, the orchestra performed at the Chicago Symphony Center, in Madison at the Wisconsin Music Educators Association State Conference, for the National Federation of Music Clubs, the Wisconsin Alliance for Composers, and throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois.
