Tamara Begley

Tamara Begley is an active teacher, dancer and choreographer in Louisville, Kentucky. She earned a BFA in Choreography and Performance from the University of North Carolina Greensboro and is a 2001 graduate of the Youth Performing Arts School in Louisville. Tamara attended the Kentucky Governor’s School for the Arts in 1999, and she currently is a Co-producer for Moving Collective, a Louisville based organization designed to keep modern dance alive in the Louisville area. Her performance experience includes working with John Gamble Dance Theater in North Carolina, Amir Kolben and Jessica Marchant in Washington, D.C., and in Louisville with jan street dance theatre, Art! Art! Barking Dog Dance Company and Beth Rodriguez Dance Projects. Tamara was awarded an internship in Washington, D.C. at Dance Place, one of the nation’s most prolific presenters of dance. She also teaches modern dance at the Louisville Ballet School and Allegro Dance Theater in Radcliff. Tamara is the Dance Instructor at Western Middle - The School for the Arts in Louisville, KY.
