Katherine Prange

Katherine has been a leading creative brand architect in the Greater Milwaukee area for the last 15 years, wearing many hats in multiple roles in a plethora of advertising agencies, design studios and art/science museums. Her portfolio demonstrates a diverse background in creating insightful brand experiences and strategic visual storytelling, working with clients such as Pepsi, Walmart, Kraft, Harley-Davidson, Snap-on Tools, Miller Brewing Company, Trek Bicycles and United Way of Greater Milwaukee. Most recently, in a Creative Director role, Katherine’s credits include BMA Bell Award’s for the 2013 United Way of Greater Milwaukee Community Campaign, 2012 Snap-on Franchise Conference Campaign, Snap-on Q1 B2B Print Ad as well an ADDY Judge’s Choice Gold Award for the Boys and Girls Club of Green Bay Window Wonderland Campaign.

Katherine is constantly exploring alternative ways to communicate an idea through the study of different types of mainstream and alternative media including, and not limited to, digital and social media, advertising, multimedia, graphic design, photography and environmental experience design. However, as her roots were built in the fine arts early on, she has always pushed the boundaries between the tactical hands on traits of the fine art world with the cutting edge computer savvy multimedia world. Therefore condoning the philosophy that the computer is only a tool, much like the paintbrush is to a painter.

Currently, Katherine’s primary focus is working on sustainable efforts within the community to establish creative and branding strategies that are competitive with local corporate advertising agency driven initiatives. She is also pursuing her Master of Fine Arts Degree in Design at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1996. She also attended Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design.
