Stephen Roy White has used light to tell stories for over 30 years. Recent work could be seen at Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, Peninsula Players and UW/M where he has taught for nearly 20 years. Other credits include designs for Renaissance Theatreworks in Milwaukee and the following theatre companies in Illinois: Northlight Theatre, Drury lane Theatre, Organic Theatre, New American Theatre, and The Theatre Building in Chicago where his work for Woman In Black earned a Joseph Jefferson nomination. In addition to design he enjoys serving as a production advisor on new building projects such as Ten Chimneys’ new program center, Peninsula Players new theatre, and Life Church’s new worship space. But at his core Steve loves students. He is a member of the tech production faculty and teaches Intro to Production & Design, Lighting Design, Lighting Production, and Stagecraft.
