  • "Public Health Five Questions" with Bill McIntruff
    The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Trust for America's Health released a poll in June 2009, that demonstrated staggering support by Americans for investment in prevention, which is an investment in public health. Bill McIntruff is partner and co-founder of Public Opinion Strategies, and explains the poll results in "Public Health Five Questions."

  • Health Reform Briefing: "Health Equity: A Moral and Economic Imperative!"
    The Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies has been partnering with Drexel University School of Public Health's Center for Health Equality and Health Management Associates to analyze major health reform legislation by assessing the implications for racial and ethnic minorities. They have also been partnering with Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health's Center for Health Disparities Solutions to assess the economic costs associated with health inequities. This video is the discussion of these analyses and the preliminary results of a study on the economic benefits of addressing health disparities. This discussion was held on Thursday, September 17, 2009 by the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies.
