Dr. Karla Bartholomew is an Assistant Professor of Public Health Policy at the UWM Zilber School of Public Health. Her background includes public health practice and administration, health law, clinical experience in healthcare delivery, and community health education. Dr. Bartholomew’s research interests include the spectrum of public health law and the intersection of public policy and public health, with a focus on chronic disease prevention and maternal and child health. She teaches “Introduction to Public Health” at the Undergraduate level and “Principles of Public Health Policy and Administration” at the Graduate level.
