I am a Doctoral Student in Environmental and Occupational Health.I am the Vice President for the Public Health Graduate Student Association (PHGSA).I am currently a Research Assistant in Dr. Kurt Svobodaʼs Laboratory for Developmental Neurobiology, where I study the effects of an embryonic nicotine exposure on early circadian rhythms and adult learning and memory in a zebrafish model organism.I have also been investigating the environmental health effects of coal ash. Prior to entering graduate school, I worked at two local companies: an environmental consulting firm and a biotech company. During my undergraduate studies, I majored in philosophy, psychology, and conducted research in a behavioral neuroscience laboratory. In my free time I can be found along the Milwaukee Rivers volunteering with the Milwaukee Riverkeeper.
